ABOUT ME

Hi! Rachel Rosenstein here. A writer, director, and actress based in NYC. I’m originally from Texas, but studied Theater Arts at Loyola Marymount Marymount University in Los Angeles and the prestigious Moscow Art Theater School in Russia.

Last year I wrote, directed, co-produced, and starred in a comedy short film NOBODY NEEDS TO KNOW. My first directing endeavor!

Some of my acting credits include The L Word: Generation Q, Shameless, Blunt Talk, Veronica Mars, Switched at Birth, and Jobs, among others. I also starred in the horror short film MR. BLUR, which went to the Fantasia Festival. Most recently, I shot a lead role in a wedding comedy film with Jon Lovtiz and Andy Richter.

Little things that make me happy outside of my creative pursuits are my cat Cary Grant, peanut butter and jellies, dahlias, doing puzzles, and playing card games.
